💧 General Description

The Neuron Wireless Water Detector by El Watch is a battery-powered sensor designed to detect the presence of water. It includes a 50 cm adhesive water detection tape (expandable up to 50 meters on request), which changes conductivity when exposed to moisture. The sensor measures resistance in the tape and outputs a value proportional to the water exposure.
Wireless communication makes installation easy and fast, even in hard-to-wire environments.

⚙️ Principle of Operation

The sensor measures resistance in the tape every 3 seconds.
If a change of more than 2% of the measurement range is detected since the last transmission, the sensor immediately reports. Otherwise, it reports every 2 minutes, ensuring constant monitoring and fast alerts in case of leaks.
