General Description

The Neuron Temperature IP67 sensor uses a high-precision NTC thermistor to measure temperature, with a wide operating range from -40°C to 85°C and an accuracy of ±0.5°C. Thanks to its rugged IP67 enclosure, it is perfect for environments exposed to water, dust, or dirt.

Compact in size (37mm x 23mm x 14mm), the sensor integrates easily into any system and operates on a long-life built-in battery lasting up to 10 years, reducing maintenance costs.

Principle of Operation

The sensor measures the resistance of the thermistor in direct contact with a thermally conductive surface or surrounding air, converting the electrical variation into an accurate temperature reading. Measurements are taken every 3 seconds, and data is transmitted wirelessly every 2 minutes or immediately upon critical temperature changes.
